The Drielandenpunt and Aachen are located a stone’s throw away, as are Maastricht, Liège and Cologne. Very unique is the location relative to Aachen. You stay in the middle of greenery, but the old imperial city is easily accessible by bike, bus or on foot. It is only 6 km to the heart of the city!

The gleaming landscape is un-Dutchlike and is dotted with meadows, beautiful farms, castles surround by nature, valleys and streams interspersed with woods, meadows and hollow roads. Choose consciously for a campsite because of its peace and spaciousness, all set in a beautiful environment where experiencing nature is central. Enjoy luxury and relaxation in a stunning environment. The camping site is spacious which guarantees peace and privacy. We do not allow cars next to the tent, no sound equipment and no fixed pitches.

For the real nature lover, the Mergelland is a true discovery: already in the immediate vicinity of the campsite you will find some nature reserves such as the Snow Mountain, the Three Country Forest, Vijlenerbos (largest deciduous forest of the Netherlands) the Selzerbeek Valley and the Geuldal Valley.

For those who want to explore the area a bit further, South Limburg with its many castles, water mills and farms is a beautiful holiday area with many surprising views. Ideal for walking and cycling, or exploring the area with your car.

From Hoeve de Gastmolen you can make lots of beautiful walking and car trips in the immediate vicinity but also to the German Eifel, the Belgian Ardennes and the pristine Voerstreek.

The location of Hoeve de Gastmolen is unique in relation to the cities of Maastricht and Aachen.
From the bus stop on the Lemierserberg there is a bus every 15 minutes to these cities and every half an hour during the weekend. Do not forget your OV card. You buy a day ticket in the bus with the driver. From Aachen you travel within an hour by train to Cologne and from Maastricht you can easily travel to Liège by train.
